How do I import a PDF?

Open the Library tab, tap the + button in the top right, and choose Import PDF. You can pick one or several PDFs from Files, iCloud Drive, or any other Files-compatible app. You can also tap Scan Documents to capture paper scores with your camera.

Why is the free version limited to 10 scores?

The free version is meant as a generous trial. If Opus Great becomes part of your daily practice, the one-time Lifetime Pro upgrade ($9.99) unlocks unlimited scores and all future updates. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open the in-app upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchase. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase, your Pro upgrade will be restored automatically.

Does Opus Great sync between iPhone and iPad?

Yes. As long as both devices are signed in to the same iCloud account and have iCloud Drive enabled, your library — including scores, books, favorites, and reading progress — syncs automatically through your private iCloud. We never see this data.

iCloud sync isn't working — what should I check?

  • Both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID
  • iCloud Drive is enabled in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud
  • Opus Great is enabled in the iCloud app list
  • Your iCloud storage is not full
  • Both devices have an internet connection

Can I read PDFs annotated in another app?

Yes. Annotations made in any standard PDF tool (PDF Expert, GoodNotes, etc.) are preserved when you import the file into Opus Great.

What happens if I delete the app?

Local files are removed. If you had iCloud sync enabled, your library remains in your iCloud account and will be restored when you reinstall the app on any of your devices.

How do I request a feature?

Email us. We read everything and we keep a public-facing changelog of recent updates inside the app.
